Giclée Prints

Pronounced “ZHEE- CLAY”, Is a French word meaning “to spray”. This term is used in the printmaking industry to refer to a print that has been made through an inkjet process, in which the printer’s ink is sprayed onto the service. These prints are produced on the state-of-the-art Epson printer, using an eight color pigmentation process with 100% archival inks and media. This gives the print color richness, detail and depth.

These Giclée Prints are printed on Fine Art Canvas with a top coating for added protection and longevity. Because of the top coating there is no need to frame behind glass, but Giclée prints should be protected form water and should not be placed in direct sunlight. Larger prints are stretched and fastened onto stretcher bars. Smaller prints (8x10) are affixed to archival panel boards using acid-free archival adhesive. All prints are wrapped in archival “Krystal Seal” bags.
